Velveteria congratulates Inara Verzemnieks on being a Pulitzer Prize Finalist for her feature writing for the Oregonian, her story on the museum was one of stories in the portfolio she sent. Inara you rock! Velveteria is in a new book, Oregon Curiosities by Harriet Baskas. It is about quirky characters and roadside oddities. See the Velveteria on Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" (Cool guy, cool show!), season three, look for the show on the Pacific Northwest, with Portland's author Chuck Palahniuk, who wrote the famed book "Fight Club" among others (It will rerun again see his site).
